CHS welcomes new staff for July '22

CHS is pleased to welcome John C. Lee and Ashley Robinson.
John Lee
John C. Lee, Ph.D.

John C. Lee, Ph.D., joins the Office of Student Services. John will serve as the assistant director of student services where he will be involved in graduation audits, ARAC appeals, student retention and scholarships administration. Prior to joining VCU, John worked for Salisbury University in Maryland as the advising services coordinator for the College of Health and Human Services and the director of the Health Professions Advising Program. He has spent 25 years working in higher education, and has also previously worked at Old Dominion University, Christopher Newport University and Tulane University.

John received his doctorate in higher education from Old Dominion University. In his spare time, he enjoys music, reading and swimming.


Ashley Robinson
Ashley Robinson

Ashley Robinson joins the Center for Evidence-Based Partnerships in the Department of Psychology. Ashley will serve as the project director for the Center's data. Previously, Ashley worked at Qualtrics in government and digital marketing, and was also an active participant in employee resource group efforts to make the workplace more inclusive.

Ashley is currently pursuing a master’s degree in clinical psychology from the University of Maryland. In her spare time, she loves design, reading, spending time outside (especially gardens), cooking (and eating) and dancing.


donna ruff
Donna Ruff

Donna Ruff is the new HR coordinator for the Departments of Chemistry and Forensic Science. Donna previously worked at the University of Richmond as an administrative coordinator for the Robins School of Business.

Donna is currently pursuing her bachelor's degree in information security at the University of Richmond's School of Professional and Continuing Studies. Outside of work, she is learning to play the guitar and studying Korean for a future trip abroad.
