Kenedy Edmonds joins CHS as new recruiter coordinator

Edmonds will continue fostering relationships with prospective students and families as they navigate the admissions and enrollment process and find their next academic home.

Kenedy Edmonds joins the College of Humanities and Sciences as the new recruitment coordinator. Edmonds previously worked with VCU’s School of Education (SOE) where she created, implemented and adapted recruitment plans and strategies for new undergraduate programs in alignment with the SOE strategic plan, VCU enrollment goals and national accreditation standards. Prior to joining VCU, Edmonds worked for George Mason University, serving in the Office of Admissions, Office of Graduate Admissions and Office of the Registrar.

In her new role at the College, Edmonds will be responsible for developing and implementing recruitment strategies in alignment with university and school goals, coordinating outreach programs, establishing strategic partnerships and serving as point of contact for prospective undergraduate students and families.

Edmonds earned a B.A. from George Mason University in foreign language with a Spanish concentration and will receive her M.Ed. in educational leadership from VCU in December.

Edmonds will work in the Office of Student Services.
