Each year the College recognizes its faculty for outstanding scholarship in the following areas:
- Faculty authors: Faculty members who are the primary authors or editors of one or more books
- Scholarly award winners: Faculty members who are the recipients of awards to recognize scholarship or scholarly works
- Principal investigators: Faculty members who are principal investigators on one or more external grants with total expenditures that were at least $50,000 during the fiscal year
