
Tonya Hall joins the College of Humanities and Sciences as a senior development specialist. Hall will provide project management and programmatic support to cultivate and broaden interest in the College.
Hall brings more than 10 years of experience in fundraising and operations management in the higher education and healthcare sectors. Her professional experience includes grateful patient fundraising programs, major gifts, annual giving, strategic planning, relationship management and stewardship.
Prior to joining VCU, Hall was an associate consultant with Marts & Lundy, a philanthropic consulting firm that serves nonprofit organizations. She also worked at the University of Iowa Center for Advancement and University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, concentrating on healthcare philanthropy program development, principal gifts stewardship and volunteer engagement.
Hall is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), Central Virginia Chapter and the Association of Advancement Services Professionals (AASP).
Ashley Jones joins VCU Development and Alumni Relations as the director of alumni engagement assigned to the College of Humanities and Sciences. In her role, she will lead the strategy for alumni engagement for the largest and most diverse alumni population at VCU. Jones brings more than 10 years of extensive experience in program development and engagement, through her work at the University of Kentucky, Virginia Wesleyan, Drexel University and James Madison University.
A Virginia native, Jones holds degrees from Longwood University and James Madison University.
