As faculty fellow for internal awards, Chris Burdett reports to the associate dean for research. In his role, Dr. Burdett chairs the Internal Grants and Leave Review Committee, which reviews all the internal grants (Quest and CHS-supported) as well as scholarly and educational leave. As chair, he coordinates the membership, reviews assignments, and monitors assignment completion and the deliberation of scores. Additionally, Dr. Burdett is establishing the Dean’s Teaching Seminar. Modeled after the Dean’s Research Seminar, the Dean’s Teaching Seminar will provide an opportunity to discuss pedagogy, teaching innovations and strategies.
