Harold Fitrer, Ed.D., a native of Dover, Del., enjoyed a long and varied career with Richmond Public Schools as a teacher, department head, assistant principal, principal, HRD director, chief of staff, interim superintendent and assistant superintendent. Upon his retirement from Richmond Public Schools, Fitrer joined Communities in Schools of Richmond, serving as president and chief executive officer. Fitrer also serves as an adjunct faculty at the University of Richmond.
